Great for anyone who needs portable DC stick welding and AC generator power! The Low-Lift™ grab bars on both ends make lifting the Outback® 185 on and off truck beds easy. The compact Outback® 185 is easy to start with all engine controls on the front of the machine, and it’s easy to use for welding. Use the AC generator power for a variety of applications described below with the large 6.8 gallon (25.7 liter) fuel tank! Plug in a Lincoln Electric POWER MIG® 140C or POWER MIG® 180C for wire welding too.

  • Low-Lift™ Grab Bars - Provide more leverage for lifting unit on and off truck beds and extra protection against product damage.
  • All Engine Controls on Front Control Panel - Front panel includes electric start switch and engine choke control, which allows for easy access for starting, especially when mounted on truck beds.
  • 1-1/4 in. (32 mm) Diameter Rugged Tube Frame - Great for all-around sturdy protection and has holes in base cross members for easy truck mounting.
  • 6.8 Gallon (25.7 Liter) Fuel Tank - Less frequent re-fueling, for extended run times. Large fuel fill opening for easy re-fueling too!
  • Weld with up to 5/32 in. (4 mm) Stick Electrode - Up to 185 amps of DC output for many applications.
  • 5,700 Watts Peak AC Generator Power (5,200 Watts Continuous) - Plug in work lights, grinder, pump, motor starting, or use for emergency power. Expand your capabilities by plugging in a Lincoln Electric POWER MIG® 140C or POWER MIG® 180C for wire welding or a Lincoln Electric Tomahawk® 375 Air to cut metal.
  • Automatic Engine Idler - Improves fuel economy and engine life and reduces noise.

    We currently ship to all locations in South Western Ontario. Customers within our delivery area can expect a 1-5 day delivery window. Out of stock items may take longer, but our delivery team will provide you with an accurate delivery date.

  • Machine Defects/Returns/Exchanges Policy

    Machine Defects - We honor the manufacturer’s warranty but the cost of transportation to and from an approved repair facility will be the customer’s responsibility. A copy of the original receipt must be presented at the time of warranty claim.

    Returns - All returned items must be in original packaging and in a fully resalable condition. If accepted a return it may be subject to a 20% restocking charge. Returns are only available with a receipt.

    Exchanges - We only exchange goods if they are damaged in our possession or are considered defective. Exchanges are only available with a receipt.
